What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
As hobbies, I like reading, especially historical novels, exercising and putting my mind and body to work. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. For fun I like to go shopping and dancing, too. I am also passionate about modeling and acting.

Name one person other than your parents who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My late grandmother, Brunilda Lopez. She was a true example of a courageous, brave, outstanding woman. Being one of the first female dentists in a male-dominated field in my country, founder of Dentistry School and highly recognized for her work in this area, she was head of my family, a loving grandmother, a loyal friend, and a warm, beautiful soul. It is her courage and memory that motivates my discipline and hard work.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My greatest promise to myself is to finish my studies as an industrial engineer, but my career ambition is to become an important actress and model, so I plan to combine my engineering studies with some preparation for the area of my interest.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in the capital of my country surrounded by the natural beauty and history of the Dominican Republic. I come from a family of a divorced, hard working mother. Since I was the youngest of five brothers and sisters, I was very much "spoiled" by my siblings, but since we were all raised with high expectations of our development throughout high school and university I had to straighten up. Even with the absence of my father, my childhood was one filled with love and caring, and now as an adult I recognize the value of my upbringing. This way, I am conscious of the importance of the loyalty, support and friendship in my mother, brothers and sisters.

What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
It is hard for me to differentiate myself from the other contestants because I don't know them all, but I can definitely speak for myself. I am a very organized, hard working, independent, respectful, and peaceful person. I believe what makes me unique is that I am consciously aware of the balance that must exist between physical and spiritual beauty. To me a beauty queen is not only a girl with beautiful physical traits, it is a kind heart always available to let someone know she cares.
