What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I have varied interests and appreciate the opportunities that I have to pursue them. I enjoy sports (basketball and soccer), fashion, traveling, movies, music, dancing, as well as the culinary arts. I love to spend time with my family and friends most because I realize that it is the simple things in life that make me the happiest.

Name one person other than your parents who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My aunt Rose has had the most significant influence on my life. Having worked extremely hard to build a successful ethnic food empire both in Ghana and in the United States and in spite of her success and many other personal achievements, she has remained down-to-earth, compassionate and loving. A wonderful role model she has instilled in me a great work ethic, leadership skills, and humanitarian ideals.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
Following in the steps of the brilliant, enterprising women in my family, and my keen interest in the fashion/beauty and cosmetic industries, I hope to enjoy a successful career as an international entrepreneur with my own line of cosmetics. I am working towards a degree in Business Marketing and also will further pursue a Master’s degree in International Business.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I have wonderful childhood memories filled with a lot of love and laughter. I was born and raised in a suburb of Accra with my parents and 3 sisters, of whom I am very fond and proud. I was also fortunate to be surrounded by a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. There is a deep sense of community in Ghana, so everyone kept an eye out for my sisters and me, and the entire neighborhood was my playground. I also had my share of tragedy, when at age nine my father suddenly passed away, and my world changed overnight. Although that experience had me grow up considerably much faster and become independent, we still had a lot of love and support from our family.

What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
I believe it is first my soul that makes me unique from any other person. It is what defines who I am and determines my character, personality and disposition. Physically, being a tall woman is also great!
