What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I enjoy the arts -- primarily photography, painting and interior decorating - and I write a bit of poetry. I also have a very strong interest in fashion - both modeling and fashion production and merchandising. Fashion is certainly my passion. Working with children is also something I am keenly interested in; I have worked at daycare centres and my experience doing this has reinforced my love and appreciation for kids. Lastly, I am a serious beach bum and I love all types of water sports.

Name one person other than your parents who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
My best friend Cavalita White has had the most influence on my life so far. She is a major inspiration to me. I admire her strength and courage as a cancer survivor. As high school mates she was diagnosed with cancer. She has undergone surgery and has basically had to start over learning the basics such as reading, writing and math. Her determination to succeed is infectious and this has had a major impact on my life. She has definitely inspired and motivated me and I am able to look beyond the minor problems that I face and be fully encouraged to be successful in life.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My ambition is to be very successful in the fashion business, first to become a top model and then to be a fashion director for a major magazine such as Vogue. I am currently enrolled as a student of fashion at the University of Arts & Design in Miami. I am learning about all aspects of the fashion industry. I am also a model and I have done the collections for designers at our annual Caribbean Fashionweek.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I grew up in Stony Hill, a half an hour from the heart of our capital city Kingston. Although my home is close to the city it is as if I live in the countryside. There is lush Jamaican flora all around the property. There is also a stream nearby. I have had a happy and fun-filled childhood, a lot of laughter and adventure. Because of my surroundings, I love and have a tremendous appreciation for the outdoors. I have wonderful memories of family trips especially the ones where my Dad took us around the island by boat. Visits to the beach were very frequent when I was growing up as my Dad loves sailing. I guess that's how my love for the sea and watersports developed.

What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
My background (my cultural heritage). In Jamaica our motto is "Out of many, one people." I represent that well with the cultural mix that has made me who I am.
