Miss Malta

Solange Jeanne Mifsud

Solange was born and grew up in the town of Zabbar in the southern part of the island. Malta is rich in history and archaeology, her home town, Zabbar, is one of the oldest in Malta and is dedicated to the last Grand Master of the Order of the Knights of Malta.

Solange has completed her Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Hons), and has a Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute. She is currently in full time employment at a Maltese bank, and is combining this with following a Master’s Degree in financial services on a part time basis at the University of Malta.

Hobbies and leisure interests are: Travelling, fishing, reading, cycling, swimming, ballet dance, and writing poetry. Since an early age she has played piano and guitar at musical concerts and soirees. She was also chosen to compare a Christmas Concert in 2000 organised by the students council, and has participated in many radio and TV programmes, mostly linked to fashion and beauty.

Favourite motto is ‘Being positive in life is a great asset to the character'.
