Catherine was born and grew up on a cattle farm in Newtownwards, Ballyskeagh, which is situated 10 miles from Belfast the capital of Northern Ireland. Newtonwards is renowned for its beauty and wealth of wildlife. The legendary cruise ship ’The Titanic’ was built in the Belfast shipyards, and famous sportsmen such as George Best and Eddie Irvine were born there.
Catherine was Head Girl at Regent House School, Won the Gold ‘Duke of Edinburgh Award’, the Gold Crest Award for Engineering and is currently studying Veterinary Medicine at University. It is her ambition to complete her degree and to have her own practice specialising in large animals. She is a member of the young farmers club, a member of various choirs and is currently helping coach a football team called ‘Midnight Street Soccer’. Catherine also enjoys; travelling, going to the gym, hockey, acting and playing the piano.
