What makes you proud of your country:
Canada is a country that takes pride in its multicultural heritage. It is a country of equal rights and freedoms. Canada promotes equality regardless of race, religion, age, gender sexual orientation, and social standing. It is a country of equal opportunity no matter what your background is. All citizens have equal access to the healthcare system, funded by the government. Large areas of land and bodies of water have been designated as national parks to preserve the environment and wildlife. In addition, Canada has one of the best educational systems in the world. Many graduates have gone on to make a positive impact in the global economy. Canada is an international mediator, and has been actively involved in peace-keeping operations all around the world. I am proud to be a Canadian; and proud of my country, Canada.
