What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
While living in Japan, a friend and I decided it would be fun to go to Tokyo without our parents on a site seeing and shopping trip. It was truly the craziest thing I have ever done because we had no cell phone and no idea where we were going. We took the train, went shopping and ate at a sushi restaurant. When it was time to go home, we realized that we did not know the kanji for our town and we did not know how we would get home! Luckily, we met a really nice Japanese girl that put us on the right train. It was an amazing adventure that I will never forget.

If you could have lunch with any one (1) person, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Susan Schultz. She is the Editor-in-Chief at Cosmo Girl Magazine. I would like to have lunch with her to discuss an internship at her magazine. I want to write fashion and beauty articles for the magazine. I would love to discuss my ideas and show her some of my writing.

Please list any Honors/Awards you have received in the past 2 years.
Honor Roll – each semester for all four years
Varsity Lettermen – I have received seven varsity letters
Captain of my varsity cheerleading squad
Special letter of recognition from Barbara Bush for $10,000 donation to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center, one of the leading children's hospital in the country, located in Portland, Maine.
I was one of two students chosen from my school to begin taking college courses as a junior. As a result I will be able to enter college this fall is a sophomore rather then a freshmen.
All American NCA Cheerleader – For stunts as a flyer

What would be your "dream job" in life?
I would love to host a morning news program and write for a fashion magazine as a free lance writer.

Name one personal accomplishment (IN ADDITION to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud.
I am the founder and president of a teen volunteer organization Angels in Your Community with the goal of encouraging teens to get up, get out, and get connected to their communities through volunteer service. Our projects include: Angels Closet which provides dresses for prom and homecoming to girls who may otherwise not be able to attend. Over 500 dresses have been given to girls in need. We have performed numerous fundraising activities for the YMCA as well as the American Red Cross for their hurricane relief effort. We have also made blankets for Newborns In Need and collected food for the Humane Society. I created a web page so that girls all over the country could learn how they could make a difference in their communities. We now even have volunteers in Virginia and Minnesota.
