Stephanie grew up in the town of Zejtun, one of the oldest towns dating back to 800 B.C., on the beautiful island of Malta. Zejtun is derived from the Phoenician & Semetic Arab meaning the fruit of the olive tree due to the high prevalence of olive trees in the region.
She has a Bachelor’s in Education (Hons) and is a qualified teacher of English and Home Economics, who sings soul, jazz and R’n’B; writes stories, cooks and paints in her spare time. She intends to return to university in a couple of years to get her Master’s and then possibly a PHD.
She practises athletics, works out in the gym as well as attending aerobics classes.
Her favourite food is the Maltese delicacy “Hobz biz-zeit” made from crispy bread and tuna salad with herbs, tomatoes and olive oil.
Stephanie believes that her motto, “Believe in yourself and others will follow suit”, has helped her win her title, and will, she hopes, take her further in Sanya.
