Cynthia’s from Tacna, near the border with Chile.
She enjoys local dishes like “picante a la tacneña”, “papas a la huancaína” and “ají de gallijna”. Cynthia is a language student and after completing her duties as Miss Peru she will be studying communication science when she goes back to university, it is her ambition to advance her country’s development.
She sings and plays the guitar, and she dances in various styles from traditional marinera and huayno to popular modern dance. Cynthia practises athletics. In her free time she looks after her two pet dogs.
