Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
Indian superstar Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is a strong influence in my life. His ability to pull himself up and out of life's adverse situations and rise to successfully establish himself as a National and International icon is admirable.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
The most interesting thing about my life and me as a person would be my journey from a small town and from being a shy, quiet person to winning the most coveted title of being "Femina Miss India". Surviving difficulties, disappointments and failures.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I hope to become a successful stage artist travelling the world over propagating Indian culture and peace. My participation in the Miss Universe pageant is an instrument to achieving the same.

Are you currently a student? If yes, where? What is your area of study?
Pune University, Commerce & Business Studies.

List any interesting or unsual jobs you may have had.
In school, I collected old newspapers for charity. I have also anchored a celebrity interview programme on TV. I have worked as a Marketing Executive for an Event Managing Company.

Describe your childhood home and living conditions. Were you raised with a large family with lots of brothers and sisters?
I grew up with my parents, grandparents, and my younger sister. We lived in a small bunglow surrounded by a big garden. My childhood was confortable and I grew up surrounded by good values and lots of love.

What one word describes you best?
Compassionate.
