What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
At age 7, I was asked to participate in Sea World's whale and dolphin show. When the show was ending, the trainers jokingly told me to jump in and swim with the dolphins. I was ready to go in, but the trainer was holding the back of my shirt, preventing me from jumping. The crowd roared with laughter.

What is the most interesting or surprising thing about you, or that has happened to you?
During my junior year, I was able to re-establish the winter cheerleading squad after our school had not had one for five years.
Are you the oldest, youngest or a middle child and what does that mean to you?
I feel fortunate that I have an older brother to look up to as a role model. He has guided me, taught me right from wrong and helped me become a strong and independent young woman.
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
My father. My father has been disabled since I was one year old, forcing my mother to work a full-time job and my dad to become "Mr. Mom." He has been my inspiration to strive harder and achieve my dreams.
What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years? Please provide the name of the charity, level of involvement.
As a volunteer with the Fairy Godmother Project of Massachusetts, I worked with nearly 50 girls from the Harbor Schools (an alternative school for students with severe behavior, emotional and learning disabilities). I served as their “Fairy Godmother” and styled them for their prom with donated merchandise. I also helped collect dresses and other items for the project. I was involved with this project for five months.
As a volunteer with the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard Association, I mentored inner-city girls ages 5-13 on such topics as hygiene, poise, confidence, health, and the overall importance of taking good care of themselves. I volunteered with the Association for three weeks.
Along with my church youth group, I deliver donated items such as clothing, blankets, food, and many other necessities to the Philoxenia House, a shelter in Boston. We also visit with the families.
Through my church youth group, I help in a variety of different capacities at many of our fundraisers such as the Mother’s Day Brunch and Pasta Fest. I help from the details of planning to the actual staff support for the event such as setting up, serving, cleaning up, etc. I have been an active member of the G.O.Y.A for six years and every year we do this event.
Also, with my church youth group, during the holiday season, we go caroling at nursing homes and deliver gifts to the elderly. And for Valentine's Day, we make and send Valentines for them as well.
