While in the hospital, I hid behind the shower curtain to trick the nurse into thinking I'd snuck out.

What is the most interesting or surprising thing about you, or that has happened to you?
Many people find it interesting that I attend an all girls school, and it was my decision to transfer there.
Are you the oldest, youngest or a middle child and what does that mean to you?
Being the oldest child means having a little more responsibilty with your words and actions. Whether you like it or not, you are a role model for younger members of the family.
Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
Oprah Winfrey She is such an incredible woman who I admire and strive to emulate. She has touched the hearts of so many people, including mine, not just through her volunteer work, but through the television everyday.
What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years? Please provide the name of the charity, level of involvement.
Camp Sunshine- Along with several classmates, I helped organize a summer camp for the children of Bosnian Refugees. We played games, went to the Zoo, and went to the St. Louis Science Center.
Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital- On various occasions, I went room to room trying to brighten the day for patients and their families.
Shriners Children's Hospital- I have visited with patients and thier families. I've also worked in recreational therapy where I helped patients on arts, crafts and other fun activities.
Variety Club- I've worked at the Variety Club Telethon for three consecutive years doing everything from collecting money through the "bucket brigade," presenting checks to the President of the Variety Club, and riding in the parade. All have been very rewarding experiences.
Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon- I helped to collect money for the cause as well as answered phones to take pledges.
Cardinal's Winter Warm Up- I visited with the public to support the cause, I was interviewed on stage, signed autographs and helped raise money for Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
American Heart Association- I was there to help support the rally and was given the honor of leading the walk.
March of Dimes- I helped to raise money, and was given the honor of leading the walk along with several local news anchors.
Independence Elementary School Special Education Department- I visited the classes on several occasions and helped with fun activities such as baking cookies, playing board games and reading.
YMCA- I was involved in a campaign promoting helmet safety. On the final night of the campaign, there was a party where every child who attended was given a free helmet.
