What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Attaching one end of a rope to a solid block of ice and the other end to the trailer hitch on the back of a car. I sat on the block of ice and as the car was driving and taking sharp turns, I was in the back being dragged and skidding around on a block of ice. FUN!

What is the most interesting or surprising thing about you, or that has happened to you?
My reign as Miss Oregon Teen USA 2004 has been the most interesting thing that has happened to me due to the fact that I have been able to help and provide assistance to the families of soldiers who were deployed to Iraq. Having a father (retired Colonel) who was in the military for 30 years and fought in the Gulf War allows me to empathize with what the families are experiencing throughout their spouse/parent's deployment. My main goal is to help families overcome this difficult time by providing unlimited support and the fact that my dad returned from war as a proud soldier of America.

Are you the oldest, youngest or a middle child and what does that mean to you?
I am the youngest child in my family with one older sister. As the youngest child, I have had the privilege of witnessing my sister's triumphs and hardships while learning from any mistakes that she has made. I'm so thankful that my sister was such a positive influence on my life and that she has done an excellent job of paving the way for me.

Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
COL Lee Allen Thompson (father). As a Colonel in the U.S. Army, my dad is the most courageous, dedicated and honorable man I know. He fought in the Gulf War and has served in the US Army for 30 years. My dad is so passionate about defending and protecting our country that he has taught me by example to be thankful for the many brave soldiers who fight for our country everyday and to support all of those who have been affected by the war. I admire him due to the fact that he is not only a great father and soldier, but a great man.

What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years? Please provide the name of the charity, level of involvement.
Children's Miracle Network: spoke and helped raise money during radiothons in order to assist the babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at local hospitals.
