Not forgetting her education, she also focused on a two year course for Office Assistant, after successfully completing this, she started working as a flight attendant. Unfortunately the aviation company closed, but this led to Sue-Ann starting her own company the ‘Triple S Entertainment & Production Co. bringing famous stars to the island. Sue-Ann loves the outdoors, swimming, scuba diving, animals and nature. She also enjoys singing and dancing the salsa, meringue and cha cha cha.. Her personal motto is: ‘Love life and love what you do. Whatever you do has to be done with the heart, with love dedication, passion and patience otherwise it isn’t worth doing at all.

Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I was born in Curacao, one of the 6 islands of the Netherlands Antilles. Curacao has very tropical weather, it barely rains here. We have got beautiful sandy beaches and many tourist attractions such as our Christoffel Park, our Hato Caves and also our diving locations, which are amazingly beautiful. I live with my mother and brother who is sixteen and lives with my dad in Aruba, but even though we are apart we still talk every day on the phone. I have a very close relationship with my family especially my mother.

What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
I have worked as a secretary for my father’s entertainment company and I have also worked as a television host in a teen show at our local television station. I have also done radio shows at one of our local radio stations Laser 101.1. I am currently a flight attendant and I have my own entertainment company called Triple S Entertainment and Productions that is in charge of bringing international artists to the island to perform. Triple S stands for the names of my dad, my brother and I, the three of us are in this company together as a team. These jobs each have their interesting side, so I would not pick one of them as the most interesting. I would say the most challenging job of these ones is my own production company.

What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
I would like to focus on my entertainment company. I would like to be in charge of the events of the Antilles. Along with my colleagues whom are also in this business, I would like to internationalise the Triple S. Al this with the help of my father who is my mentor and with the promoters of the Antilles. I would also like to organise educational events and activities for children and helping them with their dreams as long as it has to do with the entertainment industry, because this is my field. Build their self-esteem and helping them build their careers in the fashion industry and music industry.

What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
Seeing ten thousand people who are normally all dressed up in suits and very formal, scream their hearts out when they saw Juan Luis Guerra on stage. Seeing them singing, dancing and laughing to the music of this great international artist.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I have a problem with tripping and falling. I fell off the catwalk once during a fashion show. It was at a restaurant in a building called Boogies, which used to be a fort located near the coast. The catwalk was wet because seawater splashed on it and I fell.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I have been very busy working not only on my appearance, but also on being a better Sue-Ann, understanding what it is really life being a ‘Ju Di Korsou’ This way I am sure I will be representing my beautiful island to the fullest.

Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
Five years ago along with our schoolteachers and students, we held a school play. We also gathered about fifty disabled children to participate at the play, I met this little girl that could barely talk or hear, but she had such a passion, dedication and love for what she was doing that it really made me realise a lot. She also encouraged me to fight harder for my dreams and to accomplish all my goals.

What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
First of all try to show the people that there is more in life than just having a beautiful body or a lot of money, giving people another point of view. I believe that all that is important is being beautiful and having a lot of happiness and beauty comes from within and not otherwise. I would like to help teens build their self-esteem by showing them that you can be beautiful without the silicone and botox. Building people’s self-esteem, by using myself as a perfect example, would really be challenge for me and I am more than willing to take that challenge.

If you had a personal motto what would it be?
"Love life and love what you do. Whatever you do has to be done with the heart, with love, dedication, passion and patience otherwise it isn’t worth doing at all."

Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
I have taught disabled children and adults to dance salsa for an annual show they have to recollect money for the Totolica institution. This institution helps the disabled.
