Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I was born in a Lithuanian town named Panevezys. It is a capital of Aukstaitjia Ethnographic region. Panevezys has been the fifth largest city in Lithuania for more than a century. It occupies 50 square kilometres with more than 119 thousand inhabitants, the majority of whom (96 percent) are Lithuanians. This town lies on the bank of the river Nevezis, the sixth largest river in Lithuania. The river gave its name to the city itself. Some people think of Panevezys as the city of Juozas Miltinis Drama Theatre, some - as the city of the world famous Industrial Ceramic Symposia, others - as the capital of cycling and Ultra Triathlon where world champions Diana Ziliute and Vidmantas Urbonas were brought up. Also Panevezys has a reputation of being clean, cosy and a very green city.

What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
The most interesting job for me was working as a model. It gave me a chance to see interesting places and meet various people. It also taught me to deal with many things on my own, without any help. I consider this one of the biggest lessons in my life.

What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
I have my own career ambitions too. First I want to study tourism at University. I think that we have to study all our life, because there is always something new to learn. I dream about owning my tourism agency when I finish my studies. I want to have my own business and be independent from others. It is very important to me.

What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
My proudest moment of my life was when I won a modelling competition, I was only fifteen years old and I was learning to be a model only for one month, so it was really a big surprise.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I will always remember one thing. Once I found a homeless cat in our yard. I took it home, but we already had one cat, so we couldn’t keep it. I was very upset about that, so I found another home for it through a magazine. It was a really funny and interesting job, because I love animals very much, so I couldn’t do anything else.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
After winning the "Miss Lithuania" title my own life hasn’t changed a lot, because I had to study a lot, I had to pass my 12 form exams. I can say that the event gave me new contacts and friends. Also that event gave me a chance to attend "Miss Lithuania" pageant and a chance to show myself to the world, to others and maybe to do something meaningful in my life. I always dreamed about such things.

Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
The proudest moment of my life was when I won a modelling competition, as I was only fifteen years old.

What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
If I become Miss World 2004, I would be very proud about that and very happy. But I understand that it would be a huge responsibility so I would try to do my best in everything I have to do. It would be a chance to change my life, because then I will have all the possibilities to do something good for others, and that is very important. I have always wanted to do something special, something which would change at least a little to a better side. I think that winning Miss World can give me a lot of possibilities.

If you had a personal motto what would it be?
My personal motto is "There is nothing so bad which can not be changed to good."

Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
I haven’t done any charitable work in my life, but I hope I will be able to in future.
