Where did you grow up? Tell us a little about your home town/city, and family.
I was born in New Zealand capital city Wellington. I then grew up in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city, which has one third of our population. It’s a clean, green, safe society. I live half my week in Karaka, which is well known for its horse studs and sale yards with my large family and the other half in the city to work.

What Jobs have you done? What was the most interesting/bizarre?
Radio promotion, MC work, modelling and make up artistry. The most bizarre being a contestant of a reality TV series set in the back blocks of NZ with no modern conveniences, similar to the "Simple Life".

What are your career ambitions, how do you plan to realise them?
I am currently involved in broadcasting. My ambition is to use this platform to raise awareness of important issues by continuing to set goals. I hope to do this internationally.

What is the proudest moment of your life? (Not including winning your National Title)
My brother committed suicide and I knew that I should speak at his funeral. However, when I put pen to paper nothing came out. When the time came, I stood up and spoke unprepared with it coming straight from my heart.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I was in a school play…the scene was in a jail hundreds of miles above the land. I was a main character and fell off the stage. I continued to deliver my lines while crawling back onto the platform wrecking the illusion of the set.

What was the funniest/most embarrassing moment of your life?
I have been blessed with so many amazing opportunities and the lift in my profile has enabled me to use my talents in working towards my goal in broadcasting.

Tell us about an interesting event you have attended, or a person that you have met.
As Miss World New Zealand I was a guest alongside Busta Rhymes, a celebrity rap artist and Lance Henrikson, a very famous actor starring in over 90 movies but best known for his lead actor role in the series "Millenium".

What would you like to do, if you became Miss World 2004?
Depression is an epidemic in our society. Suicide is a huge result. I would like to use this profile in order to focus on the cause rather that the symptoms.

If you had a personal motto what would it be?
Honesty and integrity are the corner stones to success and with drive and ambition you can achieve any goal.

Give details of any charitable work undertaken?
I am a radio personality and a qualified make up artist. It’s been my privilege to be involved in a programme designed to support the elderly. I’ve played several celebrity sport games to raise funds for various charities. The reality TV show featured New Zealand celebrities with a process of elimination and the last person "standing" would donate the prize of $25000.00 to their chosen charity.
