What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Starting up my own company at 22 years of age in the male-dominated granite industry. My friends thought I was crazy, but, the fact is, I get a lot of satisfaction walking into a room full of men and blowing their socks off with my knowledge of the industry. Crazy can be fun!

What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years?
Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Florida - I have donated over 1,000 hours of volunteer services since the year 2000. Currently, I am the quarterly newsletter designer, the Web site designer, and a spokesperson. I am also writing a piece of state legislation to increase funding for ovarian cancer awareness campaigns.
Habitat for Humanity of South Brevard County, FL - I am the official spokesperson for their "Women Build" program designed to enlist all-women crews to build homes for those less fortunate. I am also a landscaper and a painter on those crews.
Serene Harbor Domestic Violence Shelter.
Space Coast Early Intervention Center.
Girl Scouts of Broward County.
Women's Center of Brevard County.
Broward Outreach Center.

What would be your "dream job" in life?
I would love to be on television as an entertainment reporter.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud.
I feel blessed that my company, Ampex Granite, is already profitable even though we are only a little over a year old.

What are your hobbies and favorite activities?
Watching Florida Gator football, playing tennis, surfing (on the internet), traveling, singing in my car.
