One personal accomplishment that makes me especially proud is that I have compiled my own cookbook, "The Queen's Cuisine," which includes recipes from past Miss SC USA/Miss SC Teen USA titleholders. The proceeds from this cookbook will go toward funding programs that will help raise more awareness on the prevention of child abuse. I have a personal interest in this issue not only because I am the official state spokesperson for Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness, but also because my mother was a victim of abuse and neglect.
