Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
Oprah Winfrey. Being a very ambitious person, looking upon her makes me feel that as long as I work hard towards my goals, I can achieve my dreams. I see her as a symbol of success. She achieved a lot from a humble beginning and has a kind heart. She is my role model and I want to be like her.

What is the most interesting or unique thing that has ever happened to you (aside from winning your title) and/or what is the most interesting thing about you?
The most interesting thing about me is my diversified career. Starting off as a computer science student, I studied programming and network development.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I am working as a professional model and want to be a well-known international model. I want to study journalism because I want to eventually have my own TV show and magazine; I want to make a difference in people's lives. I want to be a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF because I love children.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in Nazareth, Ethiopia, located southeast of Addis Ababa. My childhood was filled with love, joy and happiness. I grew up playing and doing everything with my brother, Addis. As a girl raised in a society with a high value system, I was taught to be responsible as a child. My parents raised me as an independent young woman, encouraging me to dream high and work hard to achieve my dreams.

List any interesting or unsual jobs you may have had.
I worked as a facilitator of different interviews with local and regional government and UN officials with international journalists. I enjoyed it because I met a lot of prominent politicians and UN officials.
