Padmini's her name
Padmini Prakash, 31, worked as a dance instructor and acted in soaps before being recruited to Lotus News in the southern state of Tamil Nadu.
Discriminated but not down
She was disowned by her family when she told them she was transgender and has faced discrimination throughout her life.
