Bionic is the fourth full-length English studio album by American singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera.
It was released on June 8 in the United States by RCA and worldwide in June 2010.
Bionic is her first studio album in four years since 2006's Back to Basics, as well as her first album to receive the Parental Advisory sticker.
Bionic was released to mixed reviews from music critics,[with Jon Pareles of The New York Times writing that the singer's new music direction 'makes her sound as peer-pressured as a pop singer can be'.
While Stephen Erlewine of Allmusic commenting that on the contrary, he finds Christina 'not playing to expectations but simply acting as a natural diva and is all the more compelling for it.'
The 29-year-old, who recently shot her first film, Burlesque, says she is more confident about her body since she became a mother.

Aguilera was scheduled to go on tour for this album in the summer of 2010, but due to 'inadequate rehearsal time,' has cancelled. She plans to reschedule for 2011.
