If reports are to be believed then Sonakshi was offered a lead role in Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster film, Vettai , but she refused the offer on some flimsy pretexts. -

Asin too refused the offer opposite Shahid, and reasons are quite obvious. This southern siren has some very good offers opposites 'Khan Knights'. So she too preferred not to risk her career graph, by working with Shahid who seemed to have lost his mass appeal.

In a recent incident choreographer Ahmed Khan who has been choreographing for both Ranbir and Shahid was scheduled to choreograph two songs for Shahid in Kunal Kohli's untitled film when Ranbir asked him to be a part of a short feature-film for Nissan.

The only news that may bring some sigh of relief for Shahid is Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone's recent expression of desire to work with him.
