Though Special 26 is inspired from a daylight heist of 80's, but inspite of that Neeraj Pandey has very well glued the facts and fiction in order to present a marvelous cine delight.

Special 26 may not have a high dose of gawky or suggestive humor, but inspite of that the movie very well succeeds in tickling your ribs with it's quick witted humor.
Infact it won't be wrong to say that, all credit for the adroitly garnishing Special 26 with some humorous moments goes to director Neeraj Pandey, who has very well decorated the entire storyline with humor sequences to tickle your funny bones. -

After watching Neeraj's last cine delight A Wednesday, hopefully nobody would have remained apprehensive about the directing dexterity of Neeraj.
In Special 26, Neeraj didn't let the plot go awry even for a fraction of second, in fact it won't be wrong to say that this movie might sweep away all the awards this year. And the credit for that goes to director Neeraj Pandey. -

While working on the sagas which have their roots embedded in the years that have gone, it turns into a tedious task for cinematographers to showcase the milieu of those years, but as far as screenplay and art direction of Special 26 is concerned then it simply envelops you and takes you to the era of 80s.

In Special 26 another protagonist who seems to be challenging the acting stature of Akki is Manoj Bajpai, who is seen playing the character of a real CBI official Wasim Khan.
And believe me Manoj's performance in the movie as CBI officer is simply exemplary and unparalleled.
