Princess of Wales Diana's ex-lover James Hewitt has claimed that he started sleeping with her just a year after her marriage to Prince Charles.
Hewitt, who previously had always insisted that they didn’t start romancing until after 1985, made the shocking revealation while under hypnosis for a new television documentary.
The former major wept as he talked about the Princess of Wales, and told interviewer Rob Butler that they first kissed in 1981 or 1982 fter they met at a polo match, and then became intimate soon after.
He also admits that he realised he was in love with Diana when they slept together shortly after.
But Hewitt also denies that he is the father of Prince Harry who was born in 1984. He says, "I can assure you I am not."
Hewitt claimed that Diana, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997 with boyfriend Dodi Fayed, was sad and lonely and wanted to settle down with him.
“She thought she’d make a very good Army wife. It wasn’t possible to do that. I think it was a dream... She was happy when she was staying with me in Devon,” femalefirst quoted Hewitt as saying.
