A woman in the US has paid £35,000 at an auction to kiss Sharon Stone.

The actress auctioned the kiss to raise money for an LA-based charity that provides free meals for people with HIV and Aids.

The snog lasted 45 seconds and is said to have drawn gasps from the audience, says the Daily Mirror.

Ms Rimm had already offered about £25,000 to lay on Thanksgiving Dinners, but the Basic Instinct star persuaded her to increase her bid in exchange for a kiss.
