Mango Kheer Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe Mangoes
  • 1 ltr Milk
  • ¼ tsp Kesar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 50 gm Almonds
  • Cardamom powder
  • 50 gm Cashewnuts and Pistachio

Method:

  1. Peel the mangoes and beat the pulp till it becomes smooth.
  2. Heat milk and mix almonds, cashewnuts and cardamom powder.
  3. Cook over low heat. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves.
  4. Mix kesar to the kheer mixture and cool it. Add the mango pulp and decorate with pistachio.
  5. Serve chilled.


Tip: To prevent the milk kheer for sticking to the bottom of the vessel, drop a coin in the vessel while the kheer is boiling.
