Sweet Lassi Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 500 gm Curd
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Water
  • Vanilla Essence
  • 1 tbsp Rose syrup
  • Crushed Ice-cubes
  • ½ tsp Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth and frothy.
  2. Serve in tall glasses, chilled.
  3. Vary the flavour by substituting rose for khus, kewra or pineapple.
  4. Very finely chopped pieces of fruit may be added.


Tip: Always use very cold ice. Not all ice has the same temperature. Usually good ice looks dry outside, and if you touch it, it will stick to your finger. Bad ice is one that looks wet outside and is dripping from all sides.
