Mashed Potatoes Recipe


Ingredients:

  • ¼ stick Butter
  • 2/3 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 750 gm Potatoes, unpeeled
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Method:

  1. The potatoes should be scrubbed, cut in pieces, and brought to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and cook until tender, for about 20 minutes.In a separate pan saute'' garlic.
  3. Add potatoes, buttermilk and thoroughly mash. Don''t use a blender unless you want the potatoes to be creamy.


Tip: Let raw potatoes stand in cold water for at least an hour before frying, to improve their crispness.
