Ingredients:
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 stick Butter
- Pecan halves
- 1 cup Cheese
- ½ tsp Chilli powder
Method:
- Preheat oven to 350° degrees.
- Cream butter in a medium-sized bowl. Add cheese, followed by salt, pepper and flour.
- Roll dough into small balls. Press a half-pecan on each ball to flatten.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes in oven.
Makes 40-45 biscuits
Tip: Cover rising dough with waxed paper coated with a vegetable spray to prevent sticking. Allow kneaded dough to rest, covered with a cloth or bowl, for ten to fifteen minutes before shaping or rolling.
