Sabudana Kheer Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Milk
  • Kesar strands
  • ½ cup Sabudana
  • Cardamom powder
  • Cashewnuts, Almonds
  • Sugar, as per requirement

Method:

  1. Wash sabudana. Drain and set aside for 5-6 hours.
  2. Boil milk. Add sabudana and heat again till sabudana is cooked and turns soft.
  3. Now add sugar and heat for some time or till the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Flavor with kesar and cardamom powder.
  5. Garnish with almonds, cashewnuts and serve hot or chilled.


Tip: To keep sweets especially Burfis as fresh as ever: Store then in a stainless Steel airtight container and put a wet muslin cloth over them.
