Mint Lemonade Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1½ cups Water
  • 6 Lemons, juice
  • 2 Oranges, Juice
  • 1 cup Mint leaves
  • Grated rind of 1 Orange

Method:

  1. Mix water and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.
  2. Combine juices, rind, and mint leaves in a large bowl.
  3. Pour hot liquid over juice mixture. Cover; let stand 2 to 3 hours and strain.
  4. Dilute before serving, approximately one part syrup with two parts water.


  5. Yield: 1 quart syrup


Tip: You may store lemons in the refrigerator uncovered up to 6 weeks; not touching each other.
