Spicy Nuts Recipe


Ingredients:

  • ½ tsp Chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsps Garam Masala
  • Salt acording to taste
  • 150 gms raw Peanuts
  • 150 gms raw Cashews
  • 150 gms shelled Pistachios
  • 160 gms blanched Almonds

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan; cook the peanuts, stirring, until browned lightly; drain on absorbent paper.
  2. Repeat process with remaining nuts.
  3. Cook spices in same pan, stirring, until fragrant. Combine spices with nuts and salt in a large bowl; cool.


Tip: If baking powder is not at hand, add a pinch of fruit salt to pakora batter to make them crisp.
