Potato and Mint Chaat Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp Curd
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 Boiled potatoes
  • Coriander leaves
  • ¼ cup Mint leaves
  • 1 tsp Chat masala
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • ¼ Red Chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Roasted Cumin powder

Method:

  1. Cut boiled potatoes into small pieces of almost equal size.
  2. Mix mint leaves, yogurt, green chilli, coriander leaves and lemon juice. Add little water and grind it in a mixer to make paste.
  3. Put the potatoes in a bowl. Add paste, red chilli powder, salt and chat masala.
  4. Cover the bowl and toss carefully to coat all the pieces.
  5. Sprinkle cumin seed powder to add flavour.
  6. Serve with yogurt and tamarind chutney. If you wish you can place the contents in refrigerator to cool.


Tip: If the yogurt has become sour, put it in a muslin cloth and drain all the water. Then add milk to make it as good as fresh in taste.
