Banana Chips Recipe


Ingredients:

  • 5-6 raw Bananas
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt according to taste
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder

Method:

  1. Peel and put bananas in plenty of salted iced water.
  2. Slice bananas with a chip slicer into water, add in turmeric. Keep for 10 minutes, drain out water fully.
  3. Spread out on a kitchen cloth to remove moisture.
  4. Heat oil in a wok till smoky.
  5. Fry banana slices in one-layer batches for a minute or two or until crisp.
  6. Lift chips out with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Sprinkle with salt before serving.


Tip: Wrap paneer in blotting paper while storing in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for days together.
