Garlic Chicken Recipe


Ingredients:

    Chicken marinade
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tbsp Soya sauce
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 500 gms Boneless Chicken cubes


  • Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Chilli powder
  • 4 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup Chicken stock
  • Spring Onions chopped
  • 3 tbsp Garlic finely chopped
  • 3 tbsp Cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup water

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken in all the ingredients for about one hour.
  2. Deep fry the marinated chicken till golden brown and keep it aside.
  3. For sauce, heat the oil in a wok and fry the ginger-garlic paste and chopped spring onions.
  4. Add chicken stock, tomato puree, soya sauce, chilli sauce, salt and cornflour mixture.
  5. Simmer, till the mixture becomes saucy and really thick.
  6. Now add the fried chicken and mix well, take off from heat.


Tip: To make thick gravy for chicken grate the onions, squeeze out their juice. Fry the onions and the masala. Add the juice as stock, after the onions are brown.
