Ingredients:
- 3 tbsp Ghee
- 750 gm Meat
- 1 Red Pepper
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp minced Garlic
- 2 tbsp Mild Curry paste
- 100 gm chopped Onions
- 50 gm chopped Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
Method:
- Cut the meat into small cubes.
- Heat the Ghee in a karahi.
- Stir fry the garlic for a minute, then add the onion and continue for 5 minutes.
- Using a 2.25 - 2.75 litre casserole dish with lid, combine the fried ingredients and the meat. Add the red pepper, and tomato and place in preheated oven (375°F / 190°C / Gas)
- After 20 minutes, inspect and stir adding water if it is becoming too dry, (it should be quite dry).
- Repeat 20 minutes later, adding the remaining ingredients and salt to taste. Cook for 20 more minutes or to your liking.
Tip: It's easier to slice meat and chicken thinly if they are partially frozen. Wrap the meat or chicken in plastic wrap and freeze for 15 minutes.
