Ingredients:
- A small Cabbage
- 1 tsp Oil
- A Lemon
- Salt to taste
- 2 Green Chilli
- Coriander leaves
- A piece of Ginger
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2 tsp Chana Daal (roasted)
- 5-10 Peanuts (coarsely ground)
Method:
- Finely chop the cabbage. Keep it in a serving tray.
- Heat oil in a kadahi.
- Add mustard seeds to the oil. Fry the peanuts and chana daal for half a minute.
- Add the chopped cabbage. Put green chilli, ginger and coriander.
- Mix properly and serve.
Tip: Tomatoes sliced vertically rather than horizontally, will stay firm in a salad. The salad dressing will also not get watery.
