Mum Chief N. Srinivasan was not involved in match-fixing or illegal betting and did not attempt to scuttle the probe into corruption in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Justice Mukul Mudgal panel`s inquiry report has said. Portions of the 35-page report were made public by the Supreme Court on Monday.but in the report it is clear that Srinivasan knew of code breach, but kept mum and didnt took any action. -

Happy Children's Day! Today is 125 birth anniversary of first Prime Minster of India Jawahar Lal Nehru.Nehru`s tenure began with a conflict with Pakistan over the disputed Kashmir region. A United Nations-mediated ceasefire was negotiated but the region remains volatile to this day. Towards the end of his time in office there was a war with China over a disputed border in which Indian troops were badly beaten. Nehru died on May 27, 1964. -
