What are your strongest talents?
My strongest talent is my ability to communicate with others, which includes not only my ability to talk, but my ability to listen as well. I am a strong believer in the idea that you learn most by listening. That quality of mine will continue to help me accomplish more in life.

Name one person, family, friend, celebrity, who has had the most influence on your life.
Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has had the most influence on me simply because there is noone who I could, or would want to, learn more from in life.

Describe how you envision yourself in five years?
Amanda DeCurtins, reporting live in the year 2010! A recent college graduate, I am now working in journalism, business and politics! I am currently commuting from Washington, D.C., where I am a Public Relations Rep for the White House to New York City where I am working on my new magazine. In my spare time, I enjoy working towards my personal goals, volunteering and spending time with family and friends. Tune in again in a couple of decades when I will be discussing my campaign for the Presidency of the United States!

What else do you want the judges to know about you?
I am confident that every contestant has determination and perseverance, which is why she is competing for Miss Teen USA! One thing that can set me apart from the other fifty young ladies is that I recognize that I have those qualities and have learned how to apply them in my everyday life. I want the judges to know that I have not only worked towards this title with determination, I will work with this title with determination.
