Dennae was born in Albury, Wodonga, situated on the boarders of new South Wales and Victoria. Albury is by the murray river and within the foothills of the great dividing range, within 100kms of the diverse terrain ranges from snow-capped mountains and cool rivers to flat, featureless land used for pastures & crops. Dennae has successfully completed her high school education, a legal secretary workshop and has a certificate in business studies, she is currently fully employed as miss australia. Dennae loves to dance and won an award as the “best new dance talent”, favourite style is now funk & hip hop, she has also been editing and developing her own short films for the past four years. Other interests include: socialising, listening to r & b and pop music, going to the gym. Her favourite food is anything sweet but she also enjoys fruit. Personal motto would be “what you believe you become”.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Honest, down to earth, bubbly
Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
Dance, I love performing. It’s not a very unusual but it is special to me. I also have a talent for film editing. I studied media for four years and thoughout that time developed some great skills.
Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
Germany, because that’s where my father is originally from.
What is the best thing about your country?
The variety of landscape and holiday destinations, it’s beautiful. Fantastic beaches!

If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
To have the ability to make everyone’s wishes come true.
If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not) whom would you choose?
My sister. I look up to her so much she is so intelligent and a wonderfully grounded person. She inspires me in so many ways and always keeps me smiling. I know with her around I could get through anything.
What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
I’d wish them all good luck and tell them that we are all winners for getting this far. And to remember that what you believe you become.
