Valeria was born and grew up in the neighbourhood of Managua in Nicaragua, it is a country in the heart of central America, with two oceans, spectacular volcanoes, huge lakes, lagoons, rivers, archaeological treasures and delicious food. Valeria is in her 4th year at university studying systems engineering, her ambition is to obtain a position in a computer company, gain experience in order to form her own business, and have a beautiful family. Hobbies are: volleyball, investigating the internet, dance especially with the latin rhythm, modelling, and she enjoys visiting with family and friends. Her personal motto is “to maintain success with much dedication and discipline”.

Secure, optimistic, perseverance
Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
I don’t have to go too far, the most beautiful land escape of the world is in my country. The beautiful island of ometepe. It’s located in the grate nicaraguan lake, it’s figure reflects a big eight with a volcano in each circle, but what I love the most is the peace and tranquillity. Just like atypical song of the island ‘ometepe’ is an oasis of peace.

Friendly people that usually make you feel like your at home.

My one wish would be living in a world of harmony among humanity
If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not whom would you choose?
It’s hard to answer. But with out a question I would pick my sister because she’s always given me her energy, happiness and laughter but most of all her unconditional love.
What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
‘don’t forget were we came from and help our fellowmen, the glamour of the stage isn’t everything, we are also ambassadors of peace, love and friendship not only in foreign countries but in ours as well and never forget that with the help of god nothing is impossible’
