Lucy Avril Evangelista

Lucy was born in Ballymena and grew up in Portglenone with her two sisters. She completed her schooling with: 9 gcse’s; a photography gcse & btec; ia beauty specialist. Currently she is working as a sales assistant and model, her ambition is to continue with her studies in photography, make-up and camouflage make-up to disguise scarring, bruising etc., eventually qualifying as make-up artist and going on to own her own business and travel the world. One of the most interesting things lucy has done has been to go over to kenya for a month as a volunteer, she worked with the tribes, an orphanage, and helped build a play park. Lucy enjoys: keeping fit, cooking, tennis and speech & drama, she also loves all types of music from pop, country, r & b to classical, her motto is “ look for the best out of every situation and love life”.

Speech and drama

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
Egypt: one of the most interesting places in the world. Great heritage from the ancient world, including pyramids, temples, part of the holy land. Visit museums. Egypt offers nature, desert trek, scuba diving and relaxing on the red sea. A wonderful experience.

What is the best thing about your country?
The landscape and people. The irish give you such a warm welcome.

Have the time of your life, it’s a one and only chance so make the most of it. Just enjoy!
