Fiorella was born and grew up in Lima, the capital of Peru. It is a very cosmopolitan city with lots of contrast between colonial architecture and modern constructions. Having studied tv production in cologne university in germany and teaching part time at a kindergarten there, she is currently back in lima working as a model and fulfiling her duties as miss peru. It is her ambition to go back to university and continue her studies and one day be a famous film producer. Hobbies and sporting interests are: volleyball (she was in the national team), theatre, music – she plays the ‘cajonu’ a typical peruvian instrument, dancing the salsa and the merengue. Personal motto would be “life is a boomerang, do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Loyal, friendly, worker

Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
I play the cajon is a peruvian instrument with african roots.

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
I like south american countries because I love south american history. When I see an archaeological monument like machu pichu in peru or teotihuacán in mexico, its impossible not to think in the people who lived there, and built all this amazing structure.

What is the best thing about your country?
Definitely its people, its amazing how peruvians can always look at the positive side of life even in difficult moments. I think that a smile can change everything…and peruvians know how to smile mirroring the image of their souls. Besides that, peru has amazing places, very interesting history, and marvellous food. Its real impressive the variety of food in my country.

Too be sure that all my family will achieve their goals and have happy and healthy lives.

What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
That education is the key to success, is the only weapon to flight against problems

You’re judging the final five contestants, which question would you ask the finalists?
A lot of people in this days are worried about external beauty, how do you work to improve the beauty of your soul?
