Miss Romania

Raluca Voina

Raluca was born in campulung in the eastern part of romania. Romania is famous for its legend of Dracula, a romanian king who used to impale his enemies, the black sea, the carpathian mountains and the danube delta which has given it the beautiful and various landscapes. Raluca is currently studying foreign languages at spiru haret university in bucharest and works parttime as a model. Her ambition is to become a supermodel and work in television. Hobbies are: dancing, especially latino, listening to latino and arabic music, experimenting with new recipes in cooking, and travelling. Sporting interests are: basketball, horse riding and swimming. Personal motto is “be happy with what you have, but keep dreaming about great things”.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Ambitious, smart, trustful

Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
I think I have a great capacity to communicate with my eyes.

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
I would love to visit egypt, because I want to find out more things about ancient civilisation and see the pyramids

What is the best thing about your country?
Our joy, hope and ambitions and that we are very proud of being romanians

If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
My greatest wish is to have a force to cure all ill people.

If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not) whom would you choose?
Without no doubt it would be my mother because I trust her and I know we would survive together

What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
I’m very honoured to meet al the beautiful girls of the world and I wish good luck to all of them.
