Ivica Slavikova

Ivica was born and grew up in Bratislava, an historical town with more than 2000 years of rich history, although it still ranks among the youngest cities in europe, it is situated on both banks of the river danube. Ivica is now studying at the university of economics in Bratislava and would like to work in the marketing field. In her spare time she also models which enables her to travel, see new countries and meet new people. Her sporting interests are: tennis, ice-skating, skiing, swimming and her hobbies are: car driving, theatre, singing, dancing, listening to all kinds of music from classical to jazz, soul, pop or r & b, and playing the piano. Her favourite food is from the Italian kitchen, for example pasta or pizza.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Heartfelt, ambitious, sincere

Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
I like singing and I play the piano

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
I would like to visit the island of cuba. My father was there, so he told me about it (the people and environment) and I was at a concert of ibranim ferrar, the singer from the group buena vista social club, and I liked the atmosphere there a lot.

What is the best thing about your country?
My country is very interesting because we have a combination of mountains and plains. We have a lot of unesco’s monuments. I like our climate, because we have four seasons a year. In summer it is very hot and in winter I am looking forward to the snow.

Music: all kinds, classical, jazz, pop and R&B.

If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
I would be very happy, when all people all around the world will not be hungry. When you are full, you smile more and the whole world is suddenly better.

If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not) whom would you choose?
I would choose for sure someone from my nearest friends or family. It is hard to name just one person.

What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
I hope we will spend a very nice time together and I am looking forward to it.

I would ask her about what she is thinking now.
