What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I greatly enjoy playing sports, especially soccer and basketball; it helps me focus my energy. At the same time, I dream and love reading successful biographies. I am a passionate reader.

Name one person other than your parents who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
It's very hard since there have been so many people in different facets of my life who have influenced my ways of thinking and living. To this day I have been very fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful people. But, the person who will always be the most influential person in my life is my brother Alejandro (RIP 2002). Even though he is not with us anymore he left me the lesson that we should live and love with our hearts, that time passes and we must value each moment and we should show our gratitude to all those who we love.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My mind is set on obtaining a master's in business administration. I know that a good education contributes in opening doors and opportunities. To be able to take the maximum advantage of these opportunities I have to pursue them and fortify my capacity to compete in the global business world in which we live.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
My family is the best thing that has happened to me; I consider myself very blessed by God. I was born in the capital city of Managua in a Catholic family of both parents, one brother and two sisters; I was the youngest. My parents did a great job in teaching us about moral values and knowing how to differentiate right from wrong. I owe all my self-confidence, personality, faith, and values to the example that my parents set for me and still do. They are the fertile land where I have grown.

What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
Just the fact of being ME marks the difference from the rest. I would have loved to have met the other contestants for Miss Universe before answering this question; it would have given me the tools to answer this question properly. Even though what distinguishes me from the rest is my authenticity, the fact that I always speak the truth and I leave a mark with every gesture, glance, smile, or word, that makes me who I am, UNIQUE!
