Lorraine was born in Bulawayo and grew up partly in Swanda (rural area) and Bulawayo. Known for having one of the natural wonders of the world, the ‘Victoria Falls’, it is also blessed with natural resources and a very favourable climate.
Having studied Hotel and Tourism at school, Lorraine now works at the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority in the Marketing and Communication Office and as a Fashion Designer. Her ambition is to become a top international fashion designer and businesswoman.
Leisure and sporting interests are: designing, listening to Afro pop, Afro jazz, gospel and slow jams, singing, both modern and national dance and Athletics, Favourite food is Sadza (staple food) and sour milk.
Personal motto is “Nothing worthwhile in life is ever accomplished without the exertion of a strong willpower” & “The best way of empowerment is education, diplomacy with sincerity”.
