Rachel Njinimbam

Age: 25

Height: 5' 11"

Measurements: 34-25-35

Profession:
Student

Environmental Concern:
Our lands are excessively targeted for resource extraction, energy development, and dumping of hazardous waste. Our communities suffer from the toxic effects of coal-fired power plants. I will develop a project call “Free The Earth” with this project I can set awareness of what we, as dominance of the earth are doing wrong and what we could do to better the earth.

What makes you proud of your country:
My country Liberia has been through a lot, a civil war for me more than six years but still standing strong. I am so proud of my country. Liberia is the first country to gain independent; it was colonized by the American Colonization society. In Liberia 70 per cent of the population work the land, producing rice and cassava as staple foods and palm oil, coffee and cocoa as cash crops. My country’s principal export commodities are iron ore and rubber. Some gold and diamonds are also mined. I will like to promote the hard work of people in my country to keep it develop and safe.
