What is your hometown like?
Huron is a rural town of smiling faces and a strong sense of community. Whether you are a local or a visitor, we treat you with respect and a welcoming attitude.
What were you like when you were a child?
Very much a free spirit, I had a strong sense of who I was. Living on a farm develops leadership and independence through hard work, and you learn from your mistakes
Who is the most influential person in your life?
My parents have not only influenced me but also molded me into the woman I am today. They have collectively taught me respect, humility, hard work and have allowed me, most importantly, to challenge myself in becoming the best I can be.
What is one thing about you that people you meet may not immediately realize?
I love getting my hands dirty! As a young child, I learned to enjoy working hard on the farm, so I'm constantly dedicated to making any situation better.
What was one defining moment in your life?
I had the opportunity to take my platform of ethanol promotion internationally. I now have 32 students abroad equipped to tout the Pump Ethanol message.
What was one defining moment in your life?
You have an opportunity as a contestant to make your best even better. So often, people settle without knowing their full potential. This system has allowed me to leave no stone unturned and become my BEST self.
What was one defining moment in your life?
I want to be a relevant spokesperson for the United States, and I'm eager to educate everyone about ethanol and what it can do for America's energy needs. I've seen first hand the benefit of ethanol in my state and know it can offer an effective solution for our present fuel crisis.
