Melody was born in Bambous Village. Mauritius is a multicultural island known for its sugar cane fields and tourism. She obtained her High School Diploma in Canada.
After completing her reign as Miss Mauritius she intends to follow in her brother’s footsteps and study medicine at the Zheijang Medical College in China, her ambition is to become a Doctor. She has had work experience in tourism, and as a computer pay role operator in a hotel.
Melody enjoys: reading, travelling, dancing, singing, listening to a variety of music from romantic to jazz, swimming, volleyball, track and field. Favourite food is steamed fish in the Chinese style.
Personal motto is “Always perserve, in order to succeed”.
